Important Information

1.Masungulo is completely off-grid. All power is solar generated and all water is resourced from the borehole. Please use power and water conservatively. Lights are to be switched off during the day and no hair dryers/straighteners or any similar appliances are to be used.

2.All sewage is treated by septic tanks. Please do not flush any products (tampons/nappies/sanitary pads/condoms/plastic/earbuds etc), other than toilet paper.

3.Masungulo is only accessible with an SUV/4×4 or similar vehicle. (if you lack an SUV/4×4 see Extra 1. below)

4.There is limited cell phone reception.

5.Tips for staff members are welcome and shared evenly.

 Extra:

1.If you lack an SUV or 4×4, arrangements for collection by the game vehicle from the main sand road can be made in advance, safe and secure parking is available. A fee of R200.00 will be charged per return trip the game vehicle.

2.No self drives. 1 hr game drive @ R500.00 per drive (maximum ten people).
